Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the NYS Pro-Bono Credit Exchange platform operated by Jalebi Ventures, LLC, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations.

Pilot Program Participation

The NYS Pro-Bono Credit Exchange is currently operating as a pilot program. Participation is subject to:

Eligibility requirements specific to your user category

Compliance with professional licensing and regulatory standards

Adherence to platform guidelines and community standards

Acceptance that program features may change during the pilot phase

User Responsibilities

For Professionals

Maintain current professional licensing and good standing

Provide accurate information about qualifications and availability

Complete committed projects with professional standards

Accurately track and report time and activities

For Organizations

Maintain valid tax-exempt status (where applicable)

Provide accurate project descriptions and requirements

Cooperate with professionals in good faith

Respect confidentiality and professional boundaries

For Funders

Use credits only for legitimate charitable purposes

Comply with all applicable tax and regulatory requirements

Provide accurate information for tax reporting

Credit System and Payments

The credit system is designed to facilitate pro bono work and charitable giving. All transactions are subject to:

Platform fees as disclosed during transactions

Verification of work completion before credit release

Compliance with tax reporting requirements

Dispute resolution procedures

Intellectual Property

Users retain ownership of their original work product, subject to any agreements made directly with project recipients. The platform and its features are proprietary to Jalebi Ventures, LLC.

Limitation of Liability

Jalebi Ventures, LLC provides the platform "as is" and disclaims all warranties. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate accounts for violations of these terms, professional misconduct, or other reasons that compromise platform integrity.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms as the pilot program evolves. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
